2. How are your rates generally like?
My rates vary depending on the event type, language requirements, roles, location, and additional factors. I offer half-day (less than 4 hours) and full-day rates (up to 8 hours), with adjustments for Japanese language needs, separate rehearsal days (with extra charges), and travel outside Kuala Lumpur/Selangor (overseas too!). Feel free to reach out for a customized quote tailored to your specific event needs!
3. Are you capable of interpreting from Japanese to any other languages?
While I personally don't provide direct interpretation in Japanese, all my current clients benefit from scripts crafted by our team's N1 certified Japanese translator. If you require live interpretation, just inform us, and we can include a skilled Japanese interpreter from our team as part of a comprehensive package. Your communication needs are in capable hands!
4. Do you host for events overseas?
Absolutely! We're thrilled to host events overseas. It's important to note that the client will be responsible for covering expenses like accommodation, transportation, and administrative costs, including VISA applications. Rest assured, we'll collaborate to create a quotation that is both reasonable and comfortable for my travel, while also staying within your budget. Let's make your international event a resounding success!
5. Do you host for weddings?
Though weddings aren't my main focus, I thrive in creating vibrant experiences for corporate events with a flair for lifestyle, entertainment, sports, and knowledge-based gatherings. I'd love to help by recommending talented wedding emcees—just drop us an email, and let's make your special day unforgettable!
6. Do you accept brand invitations from tobacco or alcohol?
While I don't endorse tobacco brands, including vapes, I am open to invitations from alcohol brands. However, I maintain a professional stance and refrain from drinking while hosting. I appreciate and enjoy alcohol beverages but adhere to the principle of not consuming them during work. Additionally, I do not engage in any projects related to gambling. I look forward to collaborating with brands that align with my principles and professionalism!
7. How do I know if my booking is finalised?
After confirming your inquiry, we'll send an invoice to your company/department. Your booking is considered finalized upon the receipt of a 50% non-refundable deposit payment (except for force majeure events) within 7 working days from the date of the issued invoice. Please note that availability is on a first-come, first-served basis, especially for popular celebration dates. We look forward to making your event memorable!
8. What if I had to amend my event date after the booking was finalised?
As the 50% deposit is non-refundable, we'll do our best to accommodate your amended event date, provided we're available. If the new date is unavailable, we'll present you with a selection of talented emcees from our agency to ensure your event runs smoothly. Please be aware that there may be a different rate for some emcees, but we'll strive to find a suitable replacement within the originally discussed rate. Your satisfaction is our priority!
